Stages of company formation

The history of Yuzhgazenergy LLC goes back to 2006, when Adygeanedra, authority for the Republic of Adygea, invited tenders for development of the Koshekhablskoye gas-condensate field, with Yuzhgazenergy LLC winning the tender. The company is registered in the Republic of Adygea and was founded by Interfinance fund that finances investment programmes in various sectors, including energy.

Despite the geologic and engineering challenges posed by the Koshekhablskoye field, Yuzhgazenergy LLC proposed a rehabilitation programme aiming at 500 MMscm of gas per year, which tipped the scales in its favour at the tender.

2007

Pursuant to the tender obligations, in January 2007 Yuzhgazenergy LLC entered into agreement with the Ministry of the Republic of Adygea to fund a total of 25.8 mln. RUB for the rural gas-supply programme. As of today, the Company has met all of its obligations under the agreement.

2010

In 2010, Yuzhgazenergy LLC and the North-Caucasus Department of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences drew up Addenda to the Callovian Detailed Exploration Project for the Koshekhablskoye field. The Koshekhablskoye well 25 was re-entered in the same year.

2011

In 2011, the rig began the well workover, followed by a side-track.
Testing began In 2011, testing of well No. 20 began.

Finally

The North Caucasus Military District conducted a random inspection and industrial-safety expert review of the Christmas trees and wellheads. The Company laid all the field flowlines, finished overhauling the gas processing facility (GPF), and set up the wellsites to work over production and injection wells. The new rig was mobilised to work over the wells, retrieve old completions, and improve aquifer injectivity. Today, Yuzhgazenergy LLC pursues exploration and appraisal of new targets, processing, and also contributes to energy supply in the region.
